Graine Royale College is proud to announce the Royal Mathematics Competition, open to learners from all primary schools!
Competition Details:
- Date: Saturday, June 15, 2024.
- Time: 10:00 AM
- Venue: Graine Royale College
- Category: Pupils in Primary 5 & 6 only.
- Format: Individual
- Prizes: Scholarship worth ₦500,000 and other consolation prizes.
Objective:
To promote mathematical excellence, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking among learners, and to provide a platform for them to showcase their intelligence.

RMC RULES & REGULATIONS
Host: GRAINE ROYALE COLLEGE
Competition: ROYAL MATHEMATICS COMPETITION
General Rules
1. The Royal Mathematics Competition is open to learners from all primary schools.
2. The competition is an individual event.
3. The competition is a primary category and it is open to learners in Primary 5 and 6 only.
4. Participation is FREE. Registration is COMPULSORY.
5. Registration Deadline: Saturday 7th June, 2024.
6. The competition will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Graine Royale College (18, Vero Acha Street, Off Clem Road, Jankara Ijaiye, Lagos)
Individual Event Rules
1. The individual event will consist of a written test with 70 multiple-choice questions.
2. The test will be 2 hours long.
3. Learners must work individually and may not collaborate with others during the test.
4. Calculators and electronic devices are not allowed.
5. Learners must show their work and reasoning for each question.
General Regulations
1. Participants must bring their pens, pencils, and erasers to the venue.
2. Participants must be present at the designated time and venue.
3. Participants must appear in their school uniform
3. Participants are advised to arrive at the venue, at least 30 minutes before time.
4. Participants must follow the instructions of the competition organizers and officials.
5. The decision of the examiners is final.
Code of Conduct
1. Learners must behave respectfully and courteously.
2. Learners must not cheat or collaborate with others during the individual event.
3. Learners must not use electronic devices during the competition.
4. Learners must follow the rules and regulations of the competition.
Prizes and Awards
1. Trophies and medals will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each category.
2. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all participants.
3. Scholarships worth ₦100,000 to ₦500,000, will be given for outstanding achievement, respectively.
Dispute Resolution
1. Any disputes or concerns must be raised with the competition organizers immediately.
2. The decision of the competition organizers is final.
